Oh, yes, very cool! The partnership in particular, like Callan and Lonely only functional and not predicated upon violence. I must find the film.

:-) The partnership is great! I also like the way that the relationship between Tarrant and Modesty develops in later books (father-daughter).

I dislike the film a lot, as I think it completely misses the point, and seems to be sneering at the whole concept.

Oh, I like the sound of the Tarrant-Modesty relationship developing. (And - Tarrant! Was O'Donnell friends with Terry Nation?!)

What a shame the film misses the point. Someone should come back and do it now, still with the Sixties setting.
